Privacy Policy
How Fund it! collects, stores and protects your household's financial information — and how to get it deleted.

Who we are
Fund it! is a private household budgeting app operated by the Fund it! team. This policy is maintained by us and describes how the app handles your information. It is a description of our current practices, not an independent certification or audit.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and display name, so you can sign in and your household can recognise you.
- Financial information you enter — budgets, income, bills, subscriptions, debts, loans, savings goals, trips and assets. You type this in; we never connect to your bank and never import transactions.
- Vault entries — account logins, notes and the last four digits of a card, if you choose to store them.
- Billing records — plan, status and invoice history from our payment processor. Card numbers are handled by the processor and are never sent to or stored by Fund it!
- Support and feedback — anything you send us, plus any screenshot you attach.
What we never store
- CVV / CVC security codes — the app has no field for them, by design.
- Bank login credentials or bank feeds.
- Your data is never sold, rented, or used to train advertising profiles.
How your data is protected
- Traffic between your device and Fund it! is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Vault secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to the database, and can only be decrypted by the server after you re-enter your password.
- Revealing a vault secret requires a fresh password confirmation that expires after five minutes, and every unlock, reveal and edit is written to an activity trail your household can review.
- Database access rules restrict every record to the household it belongs to, and roles inside a household control who can view, edit or export.
Who else can see it
- People you invite — members of your household see what their role allows.
- Our infrastructure and payment providers — used to host the app, store the database and process subscription payments on our behalf, under their own contractual confidentiality obligations.
- We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and we only disclose it to authorities where we are legally required to.
Cookies and tracking
Fund it! uses only the storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-app tracking.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information for as long as your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Your account. Deleting removes your sign-in, your profile and — if nobody else shares your household — all of that household's budgets, vault entries and history. Backups age out on our provider's normal cycle. We keep an anonymous record that a deletion happened, with no name, email address or financial detail attached.
You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us below.
Children
Fund it! is built for adults managing a household. A parent or guardian may create a limited profile for a child inside their own household; those profiles hold only a name and role, and are controlled entirely by the household owner.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will let you know in the app. For privacy questions, data requests or to report a security concern, email privacy@funditplan.com.
